The Gotham Basketball Association and Mo’ Motion are proud to announce that we reached our fundraising goals for the 2014 season. Part of the goal included enough funds to purchase and install a new, wireless Nevco scoreboard at The Dunleavy Milbank Center in Harlem. Milbank was one of six founding teams in the GBA in 2009. Their teams, coaches and parents have set the highest examples of hard work, toughness, heart and effort. All of these qualities were exemplified this week during the installation of the new scoreboard as Coach Roosevelt was out with a group of kids for his daily 7-8:30 a.m. summer workout and at least a half-a-dozen parents were watching their kids go to work. Thank you for all you’ve done for your community and for the example you set for all players, coaches and parents in our league.
